Alex Boardman

Biography

Alex currently co-presents the breakfast radio show on Galaxy Manchester, where he is responsible for features, sketches and comedy.

He also completed his first solo stand up tour entitled "Hit The North" (after a favourite song by The Fall) earlier this year at a number of arts centres around the UK. The tour was a mixture of stand up and improvisation and gained good critical reviews.

Alex has also performed at numerous comedy festivals around the UK and has performed two one hour shows, the first one entitled "Nappy Mondays" that charted his transition from "Lad to Dad", and the second entitled "Everyone thinks he looks daft" (after another favourite song by The Wedding Present). Again both were received well critically.
